About

I am a US Navy Veteran. I first learned the basics of crochet from my Mom when I was little. I put down my hook before I was a teenager and didn't pick it up again until I had grown up and left the service.

When I got home from the Navy, I had a lot of free time waiting for school to start. I started crocheting again. It became an obsession and then, a teeny tiny business. After receiving a sewing machine for Christmas, I started sewing as well. I met the love of my life who supports my dreams. We live happily with our teeny tiny dog Bella, the cat who more than doubles her weight, Charlie, and our newest addition, the fluffy puppy Ollie.

I finished by Bachelors in Biological Anthropology. Now I'm working on my Masters in Biological Anthropology.

I love crafting of all kinds. I have a craft room filled with a ridiculous amount of yarn and fabric. I spend the spare time I have crocheting and sewing; along with any other crafts my brain, Pintrest, or other amazing people's blogs inspire me to attempt.

The online community has been truly amazing and supportive. I had a hard time coming back from the Navy. My friends and I had grown apart, then I moved away from my family as well. The group of people I have become friends with through Facebook and Google plus are always encouraging.
